Different sizes for various applications

Depending on the application scenario, you need different amounts of storage space for your data. 120 to 240 GB tend to be used only as a boot drive. In our experience, the standard size has established itself in the range of 960 GB to 1.92 TB in the SSD sector and between 4 and 10 TB for hard disks. While you need a lot of hard disk capacity for Big Data or the storage of long and high-resolution video files, smaller concepts are perfectly adequate for mail servers. One thing is certain, however: in the next few years, the amount of data generated by humans will increase sharply. Statista forecasts a worldwide data volume of 175 zettabytes (one zettabyte = 1 billion terrabytes) for the year 2025. In 2018, the figure was "only" 33 zettabytes. This development makes it clear that server systems will become more relevant in the future. It is immensely important that your valuable and sensitive data is stored safely.
